Taylor is in BBA's production of "Laramie Project"

Taylor played the son of a college professor in the play "The Laramie Project" at Burr and Burton Academy. He was very poised on stage and has a poignant moment when he hugs his "mother" and heads off to school. The play tells how members of New York's Tectonic Theater Project went to Laramie, Wyoming after the murder of Matthew Shepard. The play they wrote based on more than 200 interviews they conducted in Laramie. The play re-enacts the chronology of Shepherd's visit to a local bar, his kidnap and beating, the discovery of him tied to a fence, the vigil at the hospital, his death and funeral, and the trial of his killers. It mixes real news reports with actors portraying friends, family, cops, killers, and other Laramie residents in their own words.

Last year Taylor was in Fiddler on the Roof. He was the last person left on stage -- check out the video of his Fiddler highlights!

Kevin Hand Speaks to Space Class

Kevin Hand, an astrobiologist and wonderful teacher, spoke to the class and gave them a great overview of how we look for and identify life on other planets and moons. Kevin was wonderful and I have enjoyed our relationship. He is an amazing speaker and motivator. He has worked around the world and we are lucky to have him working with the class. Kevin recently starred in Aliens of the Deep, a James Cameron IMax movie. Check out the video tribute of Kevin's visit.
