Taylor's Class makes a Tiktaalik

A few days ago, Taylor's third grade class finished constructing a nine foot replica/model of the Tiktaalik (from a fossil) out of paper mache from inferences that they made after reading many articles and images seen on a website and other scientific sources. To get a good portion of their evidence about Tiktaalik, the class listened to the Tiktaalik audio file from the University. Following the audio file, they had long discussions about the function a bottom half would serve and how it may have evolved over time.

Taylor made the drawing and you can click on the website to see more about what Taylor's class did!
