My wife Barbara is working as head of riding (horses) at Brown Ledge Camp in Mallets Bay, Vermont. She started June 9th and she will not be home until August 20th. Barb is busy from 7:00am-9pm at night. She is in charge of 38 horses and 180 campers. Yikes! Weston and Taylor are enjoying being two of the only boys at the all girls-camp. They are doing archery, riflery, swimming, diving and having a great time on Lake Champlain! Brown Ledge is a residential girls camp on Lake Champlain near Burlington, Vermont which for 80 years has offered excellent instruction in horsemanship, theatre arts, water and field sports.

Because of my dear student Dany Noguera-Garces, I was nominated and became the Vermont recipient of the 2006 Coca-Cola
Joseph B. Whitehead Educator of Distinction award. Dany wrote an essay about me and because of her, I received the award. I also received a congratulations letter from Governor Jim Douglas! Dany will be attending Middlebury next year and I think I owe her lunch! THANKS DANY!!
